Context and Introduction
With the growing popularity of electromobility and the increasing demand for eco-friendly urban deliveries, our client decided to implement a service allowing businesses and individual couriers to easily rent electric vehicles from a network of dedicated urban stations (e-hubs).
The task of the FCG Apps team was to design and develop a comprehensive IT infrastructure, including a mobile application for users, a web portal for fleet and subscription management, and a backend supporting payments, reservations, and communication with electric vehicle charging stations.
Problem Description
The client faced a significant technological challenge – they needed a solution that would enable efficient management of electric vehicles distributed across different city locations while ensuring stable and secure integration with charging stations. Another challenge was to create an intuitive mobile application allowing users to quickly locate vehicles, make reservations, and easily manage their subscriptions. The lack of ready-made solutions required the development of a dedicated, flexible system from scratch.
Proposed Solution
FCG Apps developed a comprehensive IT ecosystem, including a mobile application (Flutter) available for Android and iOS, allowing easy vehicle location, booking, subscription management, and payment processing.
The web portal (React) provides administrators and business partners with convenient fleet management, access to usage statistics, vehicle monitoring, and control of charging statuses at individual e-hubs.
The backend (Spring Boot, Java) handles all traffic from the application and portal, manages user data, and enables real-time communication with electric vehicle charging stations. The solution was deployed on a scalable cloud infrastructure (Azure), ensuring high performance and system stability.

Thanks to our IT solution, the client significantly optimized the process of managing the electric vehicle fleet.
